#doDifferent and Leave a Legacy

When one thinks of Africa, it is hard to not think of her diverse array of wildlife and natural wonders, many of which are unappreciated or simply overlooked. That’s why, this week, we are looking at a company that helps to show their clients the natural beauty and wonder that Africa holds, whilst they #doDifferent to leave a legacy.

Since 2004, Rhino Africa have grown into the World’s Best Safari Company, staffed by their Rhino Crash which are a quirky mix of travellers and adventurers. They’re guided by their love and passion for Africa and live to share our continent by planning tailor-made luxury safaris for their clients. Their safaris take people across Africa, to experience her beautiful nature and wildlife. For Rhino Africa, the business has never just been about showcasing Africa’s beauty, but also about leading and supporting sustainable development programmes that aim to ensure the empowerment, education, and protection of local communities, landscapes, and its inhabitants.

Rhino Africa uses their bedrock pillars of the wildlife, wild lands, and people of Africa, to do good through their company. They are dedicated to supporting and growing community and conservation initiatives on the continent through a unique and generous partnership with our travellers, suppliers, and employees.

Rhino Africa understands that sustainable tourism is not just about being green - it's about ensuring a long-term future for African tourism based on partnerships and community benefits. They are dedicated to unifying the industry so that all can reap the rewards for years to come rather than decimate our natural resources and habitats for short-term gain.

Along with this, they are not only dedicated to creating their own conservation and community upliftment initiatives, but they like to support lodges and portfolios that share in their beliefs, supporting companies that involve and empower local charities and community programmes in the interests of self-sufficiency.

Their vision is to leverage their authority in travel to nurture the human and natural bond that is so abundant in Africa, and to ensure its sustainable development. Their clients help support these efforts, too. Just by travelling and booking with them, their clients help uplift local communities, enrich lives, fund conservation projects, and make a tangible difference in Africa’s wildlife, landscapes, and people.

Over the years, Rhino Africa has partnered with multiple organisations to restore and preserve some of Africa’s most valuable treasures, including her landscapes and wildlife. Through their partnership with the Good Work Foundation, they have been able to help with community upliftment and education, as these are key to empowering future generations of conservationists, innovators, and leaders. Khumbulani Day Care Centre is an initiative that Rhino Africa has a long-standing friendship with. Acting as a haven for 300 HIV Aids-infected and -affected children, Khumbulani had inconspicuous beginnings in 2000 in the 2-bedroom home of Gloria Bebeza. For over 10 years, they have had a strategic partnership with The Wildlife ACT, to help fund and support their team of dedicated conservationists who aim to bring our endangered and threatened wildlife back from the brink of extinction. These are just the beginning of some of their partnerships.

So the next time you are craving an extraordinary, unconventional safari experience, why not embrace your inner 4x4 adventurer and embark on a thrilling journey with Rhino Africa. You can #doDifferent whilst having the experience of a lifetime.
